World No 1 Novak Djokovic is a cool, calm customer and apart from his all-round game and being the man to beat for his opponents going into every Grand Slam, he quite a character too, keeping fans entertained with his antics, which is always tastefully done — all in good humour. There have been occasions where he has applauded opponents for quality play too.

This time, it seemed like he lost his cool. In a tense 4th round match, which was going down to the wire, the video grabbed a footage of what looked like the Serbian ace yelling at the ball girl during a break in play. It was a tense battle, which went till five sets and South African Kevin Anderson had pushed Djokovic to the limit in this contest. While it is easy to say Djokovic had lost his temper on the first person who entered his firing line, a scream with a clenched fist is often done by players during the heat of the moment.

The ball girl had apparently broken into tears after Djokovic’s unexpected rant and the player publicly came out with an apology. After a humdinger of a contest, Djokovic is scheduled to face Marin Cilic in the quarterfinals. Watch the video and tell us what you think:
