Hello and welcome to our coverage. It is another fresh day at Wimbledon. Andy Murray and Milos Raonic are battling against each other in the Wimbledon men’s singles final on Sunday. Raonic is looking for his first major, Murray for his third. Murray has won Wimbledon once before. The match begins at 6.30 pm IST. It is one of a kind for a final. Two supreme battlers against each other. (Live Telecast and Free Streaming of men’s singles final on Star Sports of the 2016 Wimbledon Championships)
Murray one has to say will have a thing about him in the final. He has played as many as ten major finals before. So he has the experience. Raonic is playing his first major final. Push comes to shove and you have to say that Murray is the favourite to win. Whether he gets great vocal support or not, he is a champion. Of course on home turf, the British number one would also be very well supported. It is always the case. (Serena Williams wins Wimbledon, equals Steffi Graf’s record of 22 majors)
There is no doubt that it is the best time of the year as far as this sport is concerned. There is that air around Wimbledon, always, without a miss. The Indian challenge sadly is once again missing as far as the singles draw is concerned. Something has to be done about that. For too long, India have relied on doubles success without having singles as a priority.
Most importantly, the experience of Wimbledon will be one of a kind. Players will put up a show and the organisers will be on the ball. The viewers are the ones who will have the fun.
