Women’s IPL Final: It certainly was a stumping that would have made MS Dhoni proud. Taniya Bhatia was behind the stumps as usual and Danielle Wyatt was looking to take on Anuja Patil during the Women’s IPL finals. Wyatt missed the ball and before she could recover, Taniya had whipped off the bails in a flash. It was a stumping more like Dhoni, because she does not allow her hands to go back when the ball hits the gloves, instead it was all in one-motion just like the CSK skipper does. It was quick and sharp and Danielle had to depart for a duck off five balls.
Here is the video:
Earlier in the day, Supernovas won the toss and opted to bowl at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium and it seems they would be happy with that decision currently as they have Velocity on the mat at 63/5 in 12 overs. Lea Tahuhu has picked up two wickets.
Meanwhile, CSK would be playing their eight IPL final in under 24 hours from now and would be locking horns against familiar foes in Mumbai Indians. This is the fourth meeting between the two teams this season. Mumbai has won all the three. With the win over Delhi to secure a finals berth, CSK ensured they became the second team to win 100 IPL games. Mumbai is the other team to have done so. Both the teams would be eyeing their fourth IPL title.
