The journalist in another tweet wrote that captain Mithali Raj believes Harmanpreet will be fit before tomorrow’s final. After the injury, she was seen taken ice pack on the shoulder and the precautionary step is taken to deal with niggles.
Indian batswomen are in good form. Skipper Mithali Raj, Poonam Raut, and Smriti Mandhana are in good shape while Kaur, who was out of runs, played the best innings of her career.
This will be the second time India play the final of World Cup. In 2005 final they suffered defeat to Australia at Centurion. The Women’s World Cup was first played in 1973, and India and England faced each other 10 times. England lead the inning and losing tally 6-4.
