Virender Sehwag, who is excessively active on Twitter came up with a post, which read, “Tobacco companies kill their best customers. Please don’t consume tobacco, you are not a truck to emit smoke. Harbhajan Singh was not too far, he too joined the bandwagon. Harbhajan, like Sehwag came up with a tweet which read,”This #WorldNoTobaccoDay I urge you all to quit smoking and chewing tobacco. Only you have the power to change your lifestyle. Be strong! #KickTheButt.”

VVS Laxman too came up with a message, his post read,”Smoking leaves an unseen scar, It fills your insides with toxins and tar. Put it out before it puts you out.

Meanwhile, a Global Adult Tobacco Survey shows that India is second when it comes to consuming tobacco, which is a startling stat and needs to be addressed at the earliest.
