WPL 2026 mega auction Highlights: Star Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma became the most expensive player at the WPL 2026 mega auction, as UP Warriorz bought her for Rs 3.2 crore.

Star Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma became the most expensive player at the WPL 2026 mega auction, as UP Warriorz bought her for Rs 3.2 crore. With this, Deepti also became the first woman cricketer to receive more than Rs 2.5 crore in two different WPL auctions.

Shikha Pandey was the next costliest Indian player, picked by UPW for Rs 2.4 crore. Among overseas players, Amelia Kerr from New Zealand was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 3 crore, while Sophie Devine went to Gujarat Giants for Rs 2 crore.

The biggest surprises were that Alyssa Healy, the experienced Australian wicketkeeper-batter, and India’s World Cup 2025 winner Uma Chetry, both did not get any bids.
