The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) announced that Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will compete against Daniel Bryan for the WWE championship in dramatic fashion in the latest edition of SmackDown Live.
The ‘Champion vs Champion’ fixture which was initially set to take place between Lesnar and AJ Styles changed course after Daniel Bryans defeated the latter in a WWE championship title match.
The match which is scheduled to take place at the iconic Staples Centre in Los Angeles on November 18th will mark the first-ever meet between Brock Lesnar and Daniel Bryans.
Survivor Series event is a pay-per-view show, which just takes place once every year and wrestlers from RAW and SmackDown go head-to-head to determine the ultimate brand supremacy.
In 2017 edition of the pay-per-view event, it was Brock Lesnar took on AJ Styles in a match that was a spectators spectacle as both wrestles produced an end to end entertaining clash.
After his defeat in SmackDown weekly show, AJ Styles held the WWE title for 371 days, which made him one of the top ten longest reigning WWE champions of all time.
There was drama in the diva’s category as well, as Becky Lynch was replaced by Charlotte Flair for her match in Survivor Series against Ronda Rousey, after sustaining severe injuries pertaining to which she won’t be able to compete in the event.
