After a pulsating action, WWE Payback 2016 came to an end. However, the event was marred by an injury to Enzo Amore during the WWE Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contenders’ Tournament Final. The match was eventually called off. Also Check- WWE WrestleMania 32 Results and Highlights
Mr. McMahon also revealed that both his children- Shane and Stephanie McMahon will run the Monday Night Raw. And that will for sure make things interesting in the Raw in days to come.

Roman Reigns vs. AJ Styles for WWE World Heavyweight Championship-
Well, this title match was full of entertainment as the bout had to be restarted not once but twice. Styles won the match via countout, but Shane McMahon ordered to restart the match as he did not want the match to end in such a way. Reigns was then disqualified after he hit Styles with a low blow. Stephanie McMahon intervened, and the match restarted with no disqualifications. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson and The Usos showed up as well to support Styles and Reigns respectively. Eventually, it was Reigns, who retained the championship.
Charlotte vs. Natalya for WWE Women’s Championship Match-
While Charlotte had Ric Flair cheering for her Bret Hart was there to support her niece. However, it was Charlotte, who retained the Women’s Championship.
The Miz vs. Cesaro for Intercontinental Championship Match-
With the Crossface, Cesaro had the match covered. However, Zayn and Owens at ringside took on each other, and that distracted the referee. The Miz in no time rolled-up Cesaro and thus retained the title.
Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho- In a back-and-forth match Dean Ambrose defeated Chris Jericho. After a hard time by Jericho Ambrose won the match with Dirty Deeds.
Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn-
Kevin Owens defeated his longtime rival Sami Zayn. Owens wrapped up the things with an impactful Pop-up Powerbomb.

With an injury to Enzo Amore the match was called-off moments after it started.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin-
It was a WWE Payback Kickoff match. The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner, Baron Corbin suffered a defeat despite maintaining the upper hand throughout the match.
Kalisto vs. Ryback for United States Championship Match-
In another WWE Payback Kickoff match. Kalisto, courtesy Salida Del Sol, got better of Ryback and proved his win at WrestleMania 32 was no flash in the pan. (Main Image- wwe.com).
