At the 900th episode of WWE Smackdown, legendary wrestler The Undertaker rose to make his presence felt once again to the WWE Universe. After taking on Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 32, Undertaker has been absent from the WWE and only making an odd public appearance at a Cavaliers game.
The Undertaker approached Shane after entered the ring, took the mic and praised his WrestleMania opponent.
“Now, I’m here tonight for two reasons. One, WrestleMania will longer define who I am. I am back taking souls and digging holes!” (Brock Lesnar, Goldberg almost come to blows before Survivor Series fight)
Phenom now has a slew of rumored opponents for what could possibly be his final WrestleMania. One story even suggests that he could even match up with another historic wrestler in the form of Hulk Hogan. That would definitely put the icing on the cake, as Hogan and Taker are probably the two most iconic wrestlers of the wrestling golden era.
But current rumors are saying that the WWE may go in another direction and have the Undertaker battle it out with John Cena. Both wrestlers could go out with a bang, as John Cena’s appearances are becoming less and less frequent like the Undertaker. A finale of epic proportions could be a foot at next years WrestleMania extravaganza.
Looks like we’ll all have to find out at Survivor Series to see the Dead Man’s true intentions for the WWE.
