WWE star Ronda Rousey beat Alexa Bliss to set up a clash with Nikki Bella and Ronda also managed to retain her WWE Raw Women’s Championship. It was a well-fought contest, where Rousey overcame the five-time women’s champion and her entourage of Alicia Fox and Mickie James – winning with an armbar submission hold. Having been brutalised mid-match by unnecessary Fox and James intervention, Bliss was left clutching her ribs following the bout.

Here Bliss is on the attack.
WWE fans were pleased to see Ronda clutching her ribs – praising her as “a natural”.
One fan wrote: “Ronda might really be a natural at wrestling – she is out here selling better than wrestlers who have been wrestling for a decade.”
Another added “Ronda is great at selling injuries” and “great match, good selling from Ronda”.
Others said “Ronda showed her skills are continuously improving” and “Ronda is really fitting into WWE”.
“Somehow, in no time at all, Ronda Rousey’s selling is already [legendary] level. Fantastic performance,” another added.
31-year-old Ronda traded UFC for WWE earlier in 2018 when she made her debut at the Royal Rumble.
Ronda had her first match in a mixed tag with Kurt Angle against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34.
Then in just her second ever singles match, she beat Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship.
WWE stars have piled praise on Ronda’s work as she learns professional wrestling so late in life – aged 31.
