WWE SummerSlam: Doubts Linger Over Undertaker vs John Cena Match in Pay-Per-View

John Cena and Undertaker faced each other in an uncanny fashion in Wrestlemania 34 and the manner in which the match ended gave rise to speculations about a possible re-match.

John cena vs Undertaker

For weeks it was rumoured that two of World Wrestling Entertainment’s all-time greatest names, John Cena and The Undertaker would come head-to-head in what would be a Wrestlemania 34 re-match but, there still hasn’t been any development on cards for this major match-up.

Cena and Undertaker faced each other in an uncanny fashion in Wrestlemania 34, Cena called out the dead man for weeks ahead of the Wrestlemania event, but there was no response from Taker or the WWE until the very last moment. Watch-

The match went on to take place but it was not announced until just minutes before it took place and lasted about two minutes with the deadman looking in great form and taking Cena by shock.

The manner in which the match took place gave rise to rumours that there is bound to be a re-match between the two legends and John Cena’s cryptic post on Instagram with a hand rising out of a grave fuelled the speculation even more.

As it stands, it looks like the SummerSlam event will take place without John Cena’s presence for the first time in a decade but with time still left before the biggest event of the summer takes place, and should there be any development, it would be one of the most anticipated matches of the event.
