WWE: Triple H reassures fans on rumoured ISIS attack on Survivor Series

On the eve of this event hacker group Anonymous warned that the terrorist group ISIS may be planning another terror attack

Nov 22: World Wrestling Entertainment is scheduled to host its annual Main Event Pay Per View(PPV) Survivor Series today in Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. On the eve of this event hacker group Anonymous warned that the terrorist group ISIS may be planning another terror attack. ISIS has claimed the responsibility for the 13th November Paris Attacks, and might be planning another similar attack with WWE’s PPV might be one of the locations. Following this announcement, Twitter went crazy with the rumour. It got to such an extent that the company’s COO Triple H or Paul Levesque had to tweet about Survivor Series, reassuring fans with a message on his official Twitter account. He tweeted the following:

“Federal, state and local law enforcement authorities have confirmed there is no specific or credible information involving a threat against tomorrow’s WWE Survivor Series at Philips Arena. However, WWE and Philips Arena have coordinated with the appropriate agencies and law enforcement, and significantly increased security measures to ensure the safety of all those in attendance, which is our highest priority.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. to help fans avoid any delays in entering the arena due to the additional precautionary security procedures put in place. Fans are encouraged to take public transportation (MARTA) to the event and are advised that bags will not be permitted in the arena.”

The police authorities and Federal Beureau of Investigation have also declared a statement that they have no information of the said planned attacks. They said “We have, however, made the proper notifications as we continue to work closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to keep our community safe”

Survivor series is also the 25th anniversary of the superstar Undertaker, who will appear in a tag team contest. Following the Anonymous’s disclosure, fans took to twitter for a possible match between Undertaker and ISIS, joking that Taker will kick ISIS’s butt. He is scheduled to team up with his brother Demon Kane to face the Wyatt Family.

Other matches include the WWE World Heavy Weight Championship Tournament between Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio. WWE Divas title will also be defended between the champion Charlotte and her former friend Paige.
