Indian-origin wrestlers Saurav Gurjar and Rinku Singh made a telling statement on WWE NXT by attacking Matt Riddle after his match with Undisputed Ear’s Rodrick Strong. Both Gurjar and Singh blinded the Riddle and went on to brutalise the former NXT North American Champion with Malcolm Bivens on their side. The two hulking men hit the ring, laying waste to Riddle with barbaric double-team maneuvers. Only after they were finished did a man introducing himself as Malcolm Bivens arrive. Gurjar, a television actor in India popularly known for portraying the character Bheem from India’s Sanskrit epic Mahabharat in a show with the same name, had signed a contract with WWE in 2018. Singh is a former professional baseball player for Pittsburgh Pirates after he won a pitching contest on a 2008 reality television show The Million Dollar Arm.
