Joe Root bowled Jos Buttler in a County Championship match, where New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson took the catch. Well, it is interesting because Buttler and Root share the same dressing room when on national duty. Also, Williamson helping Root take a wicket won hearts. The Kiwi is in England to sharpen his skills. He is playing for Yorkshire in the Championship.

Meanwhile, Yorkshire won the match by 118 runs, but what caught the attention was this moment that will surely find it’s mention in the English dressing-room.

Here is the video of the dismissal.

In the video, you can see Root comes round the wicket and has a leg slip in place in form of Kane Williamson. The ball is bowled at the leg-stump, Buttler looks for the sweep, but only manages to find the outside edge of the bat and it was safely taken by Williamson. Buttler’s reaction after his dismissal is epic.

Meanwhile, Yorkshire won the toss and opt to bat and put on 192. Lancashire, on the other hand, folded for a paltry 109. Second-time round Yorkshire scored 239 and that put them in a commanding position. In the fourth innings, chasing 323 to win, Lancashire batters disappointed again they collapsed for 204 runs.
