Sweden, April 26: Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be coming out of his international retirement to participate in the FIFA World Cup 2018, Russia the Swedish FA confirmed on Thursday. “Zlatan Ibrahimović has not changed the national team. Sweden’s first in through the times in team will not play the world cup,” the statement said.
Earlier, the 36-yer-old who is plying his trade for the LA Galaxy in the MLS had claimed in his ever-animated manner that there cannot be any World Cup without Zlatan.
