Apple has officially introduced the iPhone 17 Air, a standout in the new lineup with its “impossibly thin” design and larger form factor. Measuring just 5.6mm thick, it features a 6.5-inch ProMotion display and is built with 80% recycled titanium, protected by Ceramic Shield glass on both sides for four times greater crack resistance. Available in black, white, gold, and blue, it is Apple’s slimmest iPhone yet.
To balance its ultra-thin profile, the device relies on iOS 26’s Adaptive Power feature to maximize efficiency despite reduced battery capacity.

The iPhone 17 Air sports a single 48MP Fusion camera capable of simulating a 2x telephoto at 12MP, along with customizable lenses offering four framing options. The front camera includes Center Stage, while dual capture enables simultaneous recording with front and rear cameras. The model will be eSIM-only worldwide, helping achieve its sleek build.
Under the hood, it runs on the A19 Pro chipset with a 6-core CPU, 5-core GPU, and second-generation Dynamic Caching architecture, delivering Apple’s fastest mobile performance to date. It also integrates neural accelerators for advanced computing, an N1 chip for improved connectivity, and the upgraded C1X modem, which is twice as fast and significantly more power-efficient than its predecessor.
