Apple Fitness+ Launched in India: Subscription price, features, and Custom workout plans explained
Apple has officially launched Fitness+ in India with monthly and annual plans, personalised workouts, and Apple Watch integration, offering premium training sessions across 12 categories for users seeking guided fitness experiences.
Apple has finally released its Fitness+ subscription service in India, making it available to Indian Apple users. Fitness+ provides access to various workouts and fitness routines on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch, which are the same Apple devices the service is available in India since years. Apple Fitness+ now offers on December 15, 2025, in 49 countries and regions, including India. The service launches in India after the company announced a Global launch of the service at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025.
Apple Fitness+ subscription and pricing
Apple Fitness+ is available as a subscription service on an individual basis at ₹149 per month or ₹999 per year in India. Fitness+ can also be shared with up to 5 family members using Family Sharing. In addition, Apple Fitness+ is offering a one month free trial for new subscribers to check out the service. New Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, AirPods Pro 3, and Powerbeats Pro 2 purchases from Apple and authorised resellers will include three months of free access to Fitness+.
Apple Fitness+ will be purchased as a separate subscription in India and is not part of the Apple One package, unlike Apple Music, Apple TV+ and other Apple services. If someone subscribes to the Apple One bundle that includes Apple Music, Apple TV+ and other Apple services, they will still have to separately activate Apple Fitness+.

Workouts on Fitness+
Apple Fitness+ will let users stream 12 different workout and meditation classes spanning strength training, HIIT, yoga, pilates, dance, cycling, kickboxing, meditation, and more. Routines range from 5 to 45 minutes long, so users can fit sessions into a busy schedule and have a quick at-home workout. The workouts work across iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch.
Thanks to close integration with the Apple Watch, Apple Fitness+ on iPhone projects metrics like your heart rate, calories burned, and workout progress in real time on the screen as you move. The on-screen stats, workout instructions and audio cues work in tandem with the Apple Watch to give users a real-time fitness coach on their wrist. The service also has a feature where users can create a personalized workout routine and set how often and how long they want to workout. Once the user sets the days they want to workout and the duration, Apple Fitness+ will generate a schedule to help them stay consistent with their goals.
Apple Fitness+ India competition
The introduction of Apple Fitness+ in India is another step in Apple’s service strategy, allowing it to expand its services ecosystem in one of the fastest-growing smartphone markets in the world. As the popularity of health and fitness apps continues to grow, Apple Fitness+ will join the existing competition of services like HealthifyMe and other international services by providing premium content with deeper Apple hardware integration.
Through a combination of professional coaching, motivational content and Apple devices integration, Fitness+ hopes to become a go-to for users in India looking for a guided and personalised workout experience.
