New Delhi: Google released an emergency security update for the Chrome web browser for the desktop version. The high ecurity flaw, which has now been fixed, was misused by several hackers. The vulnerability was reported on November 22 by Google’s Threat Analysis Group Clement Lecigne.
“Google is aware that an exploit for CVE-2022-4135 exists in the wild,” the tech giant said in a blog post on November 24. The stable channel for Google Chrome web browser has been updated to 107.0.5304.121 for Mac and Linux and 107.0.5304.121/.122 for Windows, it said according to a report by The Mint. The update will be released over the coming days.
