Chinese electronics giant Huawei is set to launch a number of products at the upcoming Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) Berlin 2019. As previously reported, the company is set to launch its much anticipated Huawei Mate 30 series at the trade show. In addition, Huawei is also expected to reveal its HiSilicon Kirin 990 SoC that will power the Mate 30 series. Mate 30 Series is the latest flagship after Huawei launched its Huawei P30 series at the beginning of 2019. According to a new report, the company is also likely to launch new variants of the Huawei P30.

Huawei P30 dual-color details

According to the information by Dutch website LetsGoDigital, Huawei is planning to launch new “Dual-color” editions of the P30. The report stated that two design patents surfaced on European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) hinting at the new colors. Huawei initially filed the patents on May 23, 2019, for the new finish. These parents were later published on August 23, 2019. The first color seems to be a variant of the “Breathing Crystal” color and the second contains black and gray colors.

The design on both these color variants is similar to what we saw in Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 series. The only difference is that Huawei is opting for different colors instead of a different material to emulate a different color. The report also noted that this is not the first time that Huawei has launched new colors. The company did a similar thing with its Huawei P20 series by launching four new color options in August 2018. For context, IFA 2019 is all set to kick off on September 6, 2019.
