Jio Happy New Year 2026 Plans: Tariffs, data limits, AI features & All you need to know

Jio has launched its Happy New Year 2026 prepaid plans featuring unlimited 5G data, OTT subscriptions, and Google Gemini Pro access, offering users enhanced connectivity, entertainment, and AI benefits across affordable price points.

Reliance Jio has rolled out a new prepaid recharge plan series today, under the tagline “Happy New Year 2026”, with the offerings offering users a renewed mix of connectivity, digital entertainment and AI-enabled benefits for new and existing subscribers on the network. Launching early ahead of the festive season in India, the prepaid recharge plans by Jio for the new year are set to be a popular pick with millions of users on the network, which are being targeted at users across varied use cases – from long-term users to short-term plans to more budget-oriented price points, with the added proposition of bundling high-speed 5G data and digital entertainment worth thousands of rupees.

The three new prepaid plans are as follows:

Hero Annual Recharge: ₹3,599

Super Celebration Monthly Plan: ₹500

Flexi Pack Add-On: ₹103

Unlimited 5G data, calling, and SMS services are key benefits to be offered as part of all three prepaid recharge plans in the Happy New Year 2026 series.

Hero Annual Recharge: ₹3,599

Happy New Year 2026’s Hero Annual Recharge plan is a one-time prepaid recharge by Jio, offering users a full year of Jio benefits in a single prepaid recharge plan at the cost of ₹3,599. It also offers users unlimited 5G data with a daily 2.5 GB data, unlimited calling minutes, and 100 SMS per day to users for a period of one year. Beyond the core connectivity benefits of the plan, one of the highlights as part of the plan is a complimentary benefit offered to users, which offers subscribers a subscription to Google’s Gemini Pro generative AI service for a validity of up to 18 months included as part of the prepaid recharge plan. Google Gemini Pro subscriptions are typically priced at higher price points when bought separately.

Super Celebration Monthly Plan: ₹500

Jio’s second prepaid recharge offering in the Happy New Year 2026 series is a monthly prepaid recharge plan for ₹500 with a validity of 28 days. The plan offers users 2 GB of high-speed 5G data per day along with unlimited voice calling minutes and daily SMS benefits. In addition to the benefits that the plan offers as a part of its core bundle, users who go for the ₹500 Super Celebration Monthly Plan by Jio also stand to gain access to a set of curated entertainment options as part of the monthly recharge plan. Subscribers also get access to an entry-level taste of generative AI with a subscription to Gemini Pro by Google.

Flexi Pack: ₹103

The third prepaid recharge plan under the Happy New Year 2026 prepaid recharge lineup is a new Flexi Pack priced at ₹103, which offers users 5 GB of data with a validity of 28 days. Users can choose to select from bundles of Hindi, International, and Regional OTT and entertainment platforms in addition to other curated bundles.

This prepaid recharge plan is a limited time offer, and can be purchased on the Jio website in addition to all offline recharge outlets.

Analysis: Bundling 5G with Entertainment and AI Services

The Happy New Year 2026 series is a fresh set of prepaid recharge plans for existing and new users on the Jio network, and with the addition of this new set of prepaid recharge plans, Jio is once again topping up its lineup of offers with more benefits and the bundling of digital services with 5G data connectivity in an already hyper-competitive Indian telecom market. As with previous Happy New Year prepaid recharge plans, the lineup also offers users an entry point to premium AI services, which is likely to become an even bigger component of its bundling moves with its digital services verticals in the coming future.
