Lenovo Vibe B with 4G connectivity launched in India, reportedly priced at Rs 5,799

Being a budget specific handset, Lenovo Vibe B offers decent specifications with 4G support. Interestingly, the Lenovo's low-budget smartphone comes to India at a time when the country is witnessing biggest telecom revolution ever in terms of 4G connectivity.

Lenovo has reportedly launched its new smartphone Vibe B without much fanfare, priced at Rs 5799 and 4G connectivity support. The smartphone surface online, after a Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom claimed the device to be priced as mentioned earlier. The retailer claims to have the phone available for sale from Friday, March 10.

Mahesh Telecom shared images and specifications of Lenovo Vibe B in a Facebook post. According to the post, the handset would be available in Matte Black color variant. While the official listing of Lenovo Vibe B on the company’s website offers the device in two color variants-  Matte Black and Matte White. However, the device priced at £79.99 on Lenovo’s website is presently not available in India and not listed on company’s official India website as well.

Being a budget specific handset, Lenovo Vibe B offers decent specifications with 4G support. Interestingly, the Lenovo’s low-budget smartphone comes to India at a time when the country is witnessing biggest telecom revolution ever in terms of 4G connectivity. Lenovo Vibe B features a micro textured plastic body and runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0. In terms of specifications, the handset sports a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS display and is powered by 64 bit MediaTek MT6735M processor, clocked at 1.o Ghz. It runs on 1GB RAM and has 8GB inbuit storage, expandable up to 32GB over MicroSD card.

Going by the post shared by the retailer, Lenovo Vibe B sports a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front camera. Both the camera features fixed-focus lenses. It packs a 2000 mAh battery with standby time up to 7.3 days and up to 11.3 hours of talktime. The handset comes with pre-loaded apps such as G-Suite, Skype and Twitter among others.

Other features on Lenovo Vibe B includes Micro USB, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi Direct, USB OTG support, GLONASS, GPS and AGPS. The handset comes with inbuilt radio and 3.5mm audio output jack.
