Moto G5 Plus with launched in India, starts from Rs 14999, goes on sale from midnight 12 PM
Moto G5 Plus comes to India in two variants - 3GB RAM with 16GB internal storage priced at Rs 14,999 and 4GB RAM with 32GB storage priced at Rs 16,999. The device goes on sale via official e-commerce platform, Flipkart.com staring March 15 midnight 12 PM.
Lenovo owned Motorola Mobility launched Moto G5 Plus in India today at an event in New Delhi. The device earlier showcased at Mobile World Congress 2017, Barcelona has finally made its way in the country. Moto G5 Plus comes to India in two variants – 3GB RAM with 16GB internal storage priced at Rs 14,999 and 4GB RAM with 32GB storage priced at Rs 16,999. The device goes on sale via official e-commerce platform, Flipkart.com staring March 15 midnight 12 PM.
Lenovo owned Moto G series has been one of best selling smartphones in India and in its three years of business in the country, the company claims to have sold 6 million Moto G devices. Anuj Sharma,Head of Product Marketing, Motorola Mobility India took the stage to unviel the device and speak about the specifications and enhancemnets on Moto G5 Plus from its previous generations. Moto G5 series devices are 30 percent more powerful than Moto G4 series, claims the company.
Moto G5 series has also recieved significant design changes from previous Moto handsets. Moto G5 sports an all-metal unibody design carved from diamond cut high grade Aluminum 6000. It has a 5.2 inch FullHD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, also resistant to scratches and splash proof. Unlike other devices, Moto G5 Plus sports a fingerprint sensor on the home button, placed on front panel and supports swipe gesture navigation.
It runs on Android Nougat 7.0 with AI based Google Assistant on board. Moto G5 Plus comes loaded with new features such as Moto Display and Moto Actions for quick access to notifications and quick app launch respectively. Moto G5 Plus users can double twist their wrist while holding the device to launch camera app and double twist again to switch to selfie camera
Moto G5 Plus has ‘best in class’ camera, as claims the company. In terms of optics, it has a 12 megapixel rear camera with dual-autofocus sensor, dual-tone LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, and 4K video recording. The camera on Moto G5 Plus also comes with professional mode options for photography enthusiasts to make adjustments, control shutter speed, change from macro to infinity focus mode. The front camera on the handset is a wide-angle lens 5 megapixel camera for selfies and offers various beautification modes.

Motorola G5 Plus packs a 3000mAh all-day battery with Turbo Charge, claimed to boost battery life upto 6 hours in jusyt 15 minutes of charge time. The handset also has a micro-SD slot, individual SIM slot for dual-SIM. It also has NFC connectivity options compatible with Android Pay. The device also offers and expandable storage upto 128 GB.
Since, Moto G5 Plus opens for its first sale in the country today, various offers are introduced by Flipkart to attract customers. The e-commerce platform has announced exchange offer bonus on Moto G5 Plus, along with EMI options, as low as Rs 1889 per month.
