Nokia seems to be breaking all records with their latest launch the Nokia 6. Nokia launched their Nokia 6 budget smartphone in China earlier this week and the smartphone is already a sensation. Well, technically, it is not Nokia but rather HMD launching the device. HMD, which now owns Nokia’s feature phones business and also the license to use the Nokia name has launched the first ever Nokia Android device after years and needless to say, it is generating a lot of interest. While Nokia 6, the first ever Nokia Android smartphone is only a China exclusive device for now, Nokia has begun sending out invites for an event scheduled to take place in Barcelona, Spain on February 26th, right before Mobile World Congress. It is hoped that Nokia will launch the Nokia 6 globally at the event. Also Read - Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 get Android Pie build with October 2019 security patch

Nokia 6 will be finally available for buying on January 19th and the numbers are expected to shoot higher up till then. While post the unveiling, critics had predicted a less than average response considering the smartphone comes with average specifications and has nothing to help it stand out, the nostalgia for a brand that was once the favourite i still high and people clearly are curious to know how will the new Nokia phones fare. Nokia 6 runs Android Nougat out of the box. Being a mid-range smartphone, it is definitely one of the highlights of the device. Coming to the display, Nokia 6 comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display with a 2.5 D curved glass on top. Under the hood runs a Snapdragon 430 eight core processor. Nokia 6 comes with 64 GB internal memory and 4 GB of RAM. All the features, form a mid-ranger perspective are not spectacular and the most disappointing of them all is the processor which is a much older version with most mid-rangers having advanced processors. The smartphone features an Aluminium 6000 series unibody design, that HMD claims takes 55 minutes to put together along with 5 levels of polishing. Sounds quite magnificent. But then, in reality, it is nothing spectacular or nothing different.  Nokia to launch new flagship Nokia 8 Android phone on February 26th but phone leaks give out specifications already Also Read - Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 receiving August 2019 Security update in India

Since there is no word on the international availability so far, it is hoped that Nokia will launch the Nokia 6 in the international market on February 26th, alongside unveiling newer Nokia brand smartphones. One of the most leaked smartphones is Nokia 8, which is expected to be the Nokia flagship of 2017. But looking at the interest people have in Nokia 6, it would not be surprising to see Nokia once again rise to the top of the smartphone game – and this time, adapt well in time to stay ahead and make the most of the upcoming trends and chances. We would sure love to see Nokia rise as a phoenix does. But will the Nokia 8 and the Nokia 6 have the power?
