Along with rolling out the new Android Nougat 7.1.1 version, OnePlus has also brought out certain minor changes to their Oxygen OS. The new changes are not performance based but rather, more in keeping with modern trends. The new Oxygen OS upgraded versions comes with a lot more emojis – especially gender specific emojis just like the recent Whatsapp upgrade. The rollout is done in phases so it might be some time before users here in India get the new upgrade. it’s an OTA so be sure to keep checking your phones at regular periods for updates. If you simply cannot wait, you can alter your location and get the update but as the first updates have already begun rolling, the wait won’t be too long and it only makes sense to wait it out.
