OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, which recently launched their OnePlus 3T smartphone which is an upgrade over their OnePlus 3 device is all set to bring the phone to India. The company has been teasing a new launch on social media channels. They recently shared an image of a upcoming device on Facebook and Twitter where they did not give any information except for the fact that it is a “better” device, hinting at the OnePlus 3T. However, the image is very, very different from the OnePlus 3T teaser image and the launch invite that was shared by OnePlus earlier, right before the global launch of the smartphone. When OnePlus launched the OnePlus 3T, it wasn’t clear whether the smartphone brand would launch the device in India or would Indians have to make do with OnePlus 3, which is almost similar and there’s nothing to complain about there. The new teasers are definitely hinting at the OnePlus 3T India release. However, the teasers are definitely different and come with quite a strong Indian element. They’re simple and there are no frills but then, it does hint at a device getting Indian touch to it. Now, whether OnePlus will be experimenting with the OnePlus 3T and giving it some Indian features or will it be a new product – they want us to keep guessing. On the teaser, there is a simple text with quotes. The top open quote is in the saffron colour while the bottom closing quote is in green. The text in between is in white. The Indian flag effect has been perfectly created by the teaser. The text is, “The Best is about to get Better”, which again hints at OnePlus 3 as the device was launched back in June and is currently the flagship of the OnePlus series. OnePlus 3T is a marginal upgrade over OnePlus 3 so it does clarify the “better”. There’s no news as to when the device will launch in India as no exact date is given. Also, the pricing is unknown. OnePlus 3 is priced at Rs 27,000 while the international price for OnePlus 3T is $439 (approximately Rs 28k) for the basic variant. This means that the device will be priced in approximately the same price range or could be marginally higher than the OnePlus 3T. Also,  OnePlus discontinued  OnePlus 3 after the launch of  OnePlus 3T, and it has received considerable backlash for the same. Whether it will follow the same trend in India and pull  OnePlus 3 devices off-shelves remains to be seen.
