As December 31, is coming closer day by day, Reliance Jio services are being checked up for their first step out of the beta phase. The services of Reliance Jio 4G will be going commercial in the first week of January 2017 and apparently the company is trying a variety of options at their disposal to enroll as many customers as they can. The recent one being, Reliance Jio sim can now be owned by individuals right at their doorstep.

Home-delivered Reliance Jio SIM is a pilot programmed initiated by the company, where a interested individual can book a SIM for themselves and get them delivered at their doorstep, choosing a day and time of their convenience. The pilot programmed, still in its initial phases will be available in selected areas of Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vizag, and Jaipur. Welcome Offer by Reliance Jio will come to an end on December 31.

Exisiting registered users with Reliance Jio and new subscribers will have to choose from various 4G plan available as per their usage. Reliance promised Jio services to offer cheapest 4G services and data plans starting from Rs 50 for 1 GB. Other plans by Reliance Jio offer standard pack of 2GB data for Rs 299 per month, 4GB data for Rs 499, 10 GB data for Rs 999 and the top-end pack of 75 GB data for Rs 4999. All the packages by Reliance Jio offers free voice calling. Voice calling on Reliance Jio network go through VoLTE services, which is voice over data services. Reliance has started their beta phase of sim card home delivery, which is very similar to what it’s competitor telecom service provider Airtel did, when they launched Airtel 4G services. Reliance is certainly very ambitious about their services being offered under brand Jio. The company is also providing customized services for home and office subscribers. Housing societies and corporate places being a hotspot for bulk connection subscribers, Reliance Jio has offered authorities of societies and offices to invite a company representative to set up a desk, who will do the registration and sim cards will get activated instantly over verification of Aadhar card with the help of KYC machines.
