Reliance Jio launches new medical and fitness app ‘JioHealthHub’ for the health conscious

The JioHealthHub app is a free app for now and there is no word on whether some services in the app will be chargable come April 1st 2017.

Reliance Jio is now entering the apps and the fitness segment after winning over everyone with their internet speeds and free offers. The Mukesh Ambani owned telecom network has recently unveiled their all new fitness app called the JioHealthHub, which is a fitness app for smartphone users. The app is a comprehensive fitness tracker and health app and aids the users keep track of not only their health and fitness in terms of steps taken or exercise but users also have the option of logging in advanced details. Users can keep their data secure and view it when required. You can also store data not related to the app but other medical data like bills and prescriptions on the app. it aims to be a one stop solution app or folder for all health related needs – but in a digital format.

The app is a cloud based app and for now, is an Android app. There is no word on when the app will be available on iOS devices or whether it will come to iOS at all. The app is available for free in Google Play store from where users can download it and use it once they sign in using all details. Users of the app can upload all their medical history on the app and can use the app to keep track of their medicines. They can add images, keep their prescriptions, add their medical records and history, check symptoms, etc on the app. The can even link the app to others who use the app (medical personnel, family) and share data with them over the app! JioHealthHub has even tied up with hospitals and medical institutions to make sharing and availability of data easier.

The app consists of all data and right in the middle of the app is a major folder where users can easily store everything they wish to save and access at a later date. Since it a cloud based service, there is complete security and users can store everything securely. Also, whenever you go for a visit to any hospital the app has tied up with to get yourself tested, once the test results are generated you can access the results directly from within the app as they are uploaded on the app itself. There are different folders in the app for different purposes so you can store everything easily without it getting jumbled up at any point of time. Lenovo Z2 Plus gets cheaper, now available for Rs 14,999 on Flipkart and also in retail stores

Accordign to the description on the Google Play Store, “All of your health related files (e.g. Medical Images, Prescriptions, Medical bills, Lab Reports etc.) are available only to you and you can share them securely with your care provider and family members who can view the data without making any changes to it. You can share information with tight control on it being shared further or being sent to a third party without your authorization.
Anywhere Accessibility
All of your data is stored in the cloud which is accessible from anywhere and on any device but with your secure credentials, which means you can carry your medical records with you at all times without having to carry any papers, physical files, test films or lab reports.
The app for now is compatible with devices running Android version 4.4 and above and has 5,000 – 10,000 downloads so far.
