Samsung Galaxy S8 has turned into one of the most rumoured smartphones in recent times. Each day we see some or the other new news regarding the smartphone. Since Samsung confirmed the reason for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 blasts, the Samsung Galaxy S8 leaks have intensified and while initially there were a few rumours with regards to the features and specifications, the leaks have gotten more and more specific over time. While initially, Samsung was expected to announce the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 at Mobile World Congress, after the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recall, word came in that the Samsung Galaxy S8 launch would be pushed back. And now, after much debate, looks like the issue is finally resolved and the Samsung Galaxy S8 launch date out.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to launch in April instead of February and the launch date is scheduled to be April 21st. This is the global launch date and the smartphone will come to India in the coming days, after the global launch. Samsung Galaxy S8 will be a premium segment smartphone. The flagship Samsung device of 2017 will come with dual edged curved display, similar to Samsung Galaxy Edge series devices but then, there will be more screen to body ration with there hardly being bezels. With most smartphones now doing away with bezels, this doesn’t really come as a surprise.  However, Samsung in a first is also reportedly doing away with their home button and sticking to a pressure-enabled display for unlocking where the fingerprint sensor will also be embedded,

The display will be one of the key elements of Samsung Galaxy S8, and the smartphone will come in 2 display options – one larger and one smaller. The display sizes have also gotten bigger – at 5.7 inches and 6.2 inches. However, the overall size of the phone will not be impacted too much as the displays will both come with more ration to the body size. The log will be shifted to the back of the device. The smartphone will essentially be a screen wonder with a display taking up the complete front of the device. However, while the display does impress, the one thing the Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumoured to lack is the dual camera set up. Samsung will stick to a single camera for their Samsung Galaxy S8 and while the camera resolution will definitely be ramped up, it won’t be as impressive as the Bokeh effects we’ve been seeing. Your Android Phone lock pattern is not safe – it can be hacked in just 5 tries

Samsung’s two new assistants – Bixby and Kestra will also bring additional features to the camera like object and people recognition through artificial intelligence. Samsung Galaxy S8 has been known for a fact to sport the all new Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 6 GB RAM. However, the internal memory is just 64 Gb – which does seem extremely disappointing considering most other flagships have moved on to better internal memory variants. There is also expected to be additional features to help the apps interact with AI better and perform in a batter manner. While there have been conflicted reports regaring the headphone jack, Samsung is likely to do away with the 3.5 mm jack and sport a USB type connector with the headphone. Well, with the launch date pushed back, we hope the leaks keep coming!
