Xiaomi is rumored to launch their latest device Mi 6 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017, scheduled for February in Barcelona. The predecessor Mi 5 was too launched similarly at MWC 2016.  Also, speculations have been doing round about  specifications and features quite some time. A recent leak suggest that Xiaomi Mi 6 has crossed the 200,000 mark on AnTuTu benchmark.

The leak reported by GizmoChina tipped at Xiaomi Mi 6 getting AnTuTu benchmark score of 210,329 has been leaked. A screenshot shared by a Weibo user suggest the same, which is certainly the highest score among others. OnePlus 3T which runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset got a benchmark score of 162,479 while Apple iPhone 7 Plus has scored 183,093.  The high benchmark score has also led to speculation that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC under the hood. Prior to this, the only phone speculated to be released with Snapdragon 835 chipset, was Samsung Galaxy S8.

According to GSMArena, an analyst said that Xiaomi Mi 6 could be the first Chinese smartphone to sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. The device is expected to be launch around the same time as Samsung’s Galaxy S8’s international launch, which has reportedly been pushed back to April 2017 from February 2017 by Samsung. Another rumor hints that the Mi 6 is already in works and might be launched in three processor variants. We believe the premium variant would be the one to sport the Snapdragon 835 chipset. The other two variants might not sport a Snapdragon SoC at all.
