Kavitha had also approached the Supreme Court, challenging the summoning of a woman by the ED to its office following which the top court granted her immunity from interrogation till Wednesday, March 13, and deferred the hearing on her petition against ED's summons in the case on Friday, March 15.

The next hearing in the case will be held on Tuesday.

The ED claims that Kavitha was part of a lobby called the 'South Group' which played a crucial role in the Delhi liquor policy scam adding that the other members of the group were Hyderabad businessman Sarath Reddy, YSR Congress Party MP Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy, and his son Raghav Magunta Reddy.

Sarath Reddy and Raghav Reddy have turned approvers in the case.
