Hyderabad Traffic Advisory Issued Ahead of IPL 2024 Cricket Match Today: Check List of Routes to Avoid

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Traffic restrictions have been imposed and an advisory has been issued in Hyderabad for smooth flow of traffic ahead of IPL 2024 which is scheduled to be held on March 27 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium,

The police said the traffic restrictions will be imposed on March 27, 2024 from 4 PM to 11:50 PM in view of the IPL match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians.

The Hyderabad Police said the traffic diversions have been imposed on the movement of traffic within the limits of the Uppal Traffic police station from 7:30 PM at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium,

Check Traffic Diversions:

  • According to Hyderabad Police, the heavy vehicles for which diversions have been imposed include lorries, dumpers, earthmovers, water tankers, RMC trucks, and all other types of trucks.
  • The heavy vehicles plying in the city must approach Route 1 From Chengicherla, Boduppal, and Peerzadiguda as the traffic goes towards Uppal.
  • Traffic has been diverted from LB Nagar to Nagole, Uppal, under Nagole Metro Station, U-Turn Nagole Metro Station, HMDA Layout, Boduppal- Boduppal- Chengicherla X Road
  • Vehicles will be diverted from Tarnaka towards Uppal Habsiguda X Road and also towards Nacharam, IOCL Cherlapally.
  • The local police have urged the daily commuters to take note of the above-mentioned routes, dates, and timings and should plan their movements accordingly, and cooperate with the Rachakonda Traffic Police.

Section 144 Imposed in Hyderabad

Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Section 144 was imposed in Hyderabad. Giving details, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Kothakota Sreenivas Reddy told Siasat Daily that the decision in this regard has been taken as per the guidelines of the Election Commission guidelines. The restrictions have been imposed to uphold public order and peace across Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
