Burqa-clad Man Tries To Rob Hyderabad Jewellery Shop, Stabs Owner, Incident Caught On CCTV
The police have secured the footage, registered a case, and formed special teams to apprehend the robbers.

Hyderabad: A video of the CCTV footage of two men, one wearing a burqa and another hiding his face by wearing a helmet is going viral on social media as they attempted to rob a jewellery shop in Medchal, a suburb of Hyderabad, Telangana on Thursday. The owner of the shop was stabbed with a knife by the burqa-clad man while his son reportedly managed to thwart the robbery attempt. The two robbers escaped on a bike.

Two robbers entered Jagadamba Jewellers in Kompally, Medchal, Hyderabad, around 11 am. One brandished a large knife and demanded the valuables from the shop owner. A quick-thinking salesman in the shop ran to where more valuables were kept and secured the safe. The owner of the shop ran out of the shop although the robber attacked his shoulder with the knife. When the shop owner came out and started shouting for help to attract the local people, the robbers panicked and ran away.
The salesman confronted the robber by throwing a chair at him, which struck him. The robbers fled on a motorcycle. The entire incident was recorded by the shop's closed-circuit cameras. The police have secured the footage, registered a case, and formed special teams to apprehend the robbers.
