David Warner

David Warner is an Australian cricketer and also the vice captain of the current Australian team in all the three formats.  He doesn't have any experience in first class cricket but he is the current captain of SunRisers Hyderabad in Indian Premiere League (IPL) and he also plays for teams like New South Wales and Sydney Thunders.  He is the third player in cricket after Sunil Gawaskar and Ricky Pointing to hit centuries in both innings of the match thrice.  He is the first Australian to reach the mark of 1500 runs in T20 format.  

 Born on 27th October 1986 in Paddington,  New South Wales, head interested in cricket from his childhood and at the age of 13, he was asked by his coach to bat right handed.  However, later his mother asked him to bat left handed and that proved very beneficial to him and he broke the records of all the run scored for the Sydney Coastal Cricket Club.  He later toured Sri Lanka playing first grade for the Eastern Suburbs and he then played in the Under 19 for the state cricket team.  He then played a innings of 165* for the New South Wales against Tasmania and later he was selected in the Australian team for the T20 format.  He made his debut in T20 format on 11th January 2009 against South Africa and made an impact in his debut by scoring 89 off 43 balls with 7 found and 6 sixes.  He then made his debut in ODI against South Africa on 18th January 2009 but failed to score big.  He got dismissed only for five runs.  He then made his test debut on 1st December 2011 against New Zealand and he made 123* in his debut innings.  In his fifth test match in January 2012, he scored a 69 ball century against India and made the record of the fourth fastest test century of all time and ultimately scored 180 runs from 159 balls.  Later in the final of the CB Series against Sri Lanka,  he scored 163 off 157 balls and batted until the last ball of the innings.  This was his maiden ODI hundred ad he followed his form with another century and a 48 run score in the other two finals and then created a record of highest run scorer in a tri series in Australia by scoring 311 runs. He continued his form in domestic cricket as well and he broke the record of the highest Australian domestic One Day score and he scored 197 off 141 balls.  In the 2015 world cup, he scored 178 runs off 133 balls against Afghanistan and became the 11th highest scorer of the tournament.  He also had a decent performance in the Ashes and he made 415 runs in the series and became the fourth highest run scorer of the tournament.  Warner is also known for the IPL performances.  On IPL, he has been associated with teams like Delhi Daredevils and Sunrisers Hyderabad.  He was the captain of the Sunrisers Hyderabad tan from 2015 and he was the leading run scorer of IPL 2015 which led him to win the Orange cap.  He led the team in 2016 as well and considered as an underdog team,  he helped the team perform well and became the winning champion of 2016. Apart from IPL, he is also associated with KFC Big Bash and Big Bash League and he was the captain of the Sydney Thunders in the Big Bash League. 

 Warner got married to Candice Falzon in April 2015 and they had their first daughter before marriage named Ivy Mae Warner.  They were blessed oath their second daughter India Rae in January 2016. In 2016, he was also names as the Australian Sports Dad of the year.
