Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Ingrid Johansson is an American actress, model, and singer, who has starred in films, television series, video games, and stage plays. She made her acting debut in 1994 as a child actor in the movie North, but she had very limited screen space. After that, she featured in Just Cause in 1995, and in If Lucy Fell in 1996, which was the year she first landed her lead role in the movie Manny & Lo.

Scarlett, who has received a number of awards for her roles, has featured in television shows like, The Client in 1995, Entourage in 2004, Robot Chicken from 2005-2008 (Various Voices), Saturday Night Live from 2006-2018 (Host), HitRecord on TV in 2014, and Assassin Banana in 2015 (Voice). Her stage shows include A View from the Bridge (2010) for which she won a Tony Award and a Theatre World Award, and in 2013 in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

PERSONAL LIFE:

Scarlett Ingrid Johansson was born on November 22, 1984 in the New York City borough of Manhattan to Karsten Olaf Johansson, an architect originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, and Melanie Sloan, a producer. She has two older siblings and a twin brother, and a half-brother from her father's first marriage. She attended PS 41, an elementary school in Greenwich Village in Manhattan, and then Professional Children's School (PCS), a private educational institution for aspiring child actors in Manhattan.

She was married to actor Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011, and then in 2014 she married Frenchman Romain Dauriac with whom she has a daughter, but the marriage ended in divorce in 2017. She is currently in a relationship with actor-writer Colin Jost, who she got engaged to in 2019.
