Barack Hussein Obama will go down in history as the first African-American president of the United State. If for no other reason, but for this particular reason his place is secured in history. Then he passed the first major ethics reform in 25 years in Springfield, expanded health care for children and their parents, cut taxes for working families. After he managed to get all his opponents disqualified, in 1996 he won from Illinois Senate seat. Obama won quite easily because he was the only candidate on the ballot. In 1999, against the US Congressional seat of Republican Bobby Rush, Obama began his fight. He was determined to continue his quest for a Federal government office after he lost that contest in 2000. In 2004 he was elected to the US Senate and his republican opponent almost withdrawn themselves from the election. He was a U.S. Senator and his victory was unbelievable. In 2008 Obama was elected President of the United States for the first time, reaching the pinnacle of US politics. He brought a large numbers of reforms, policies, rights in US However, back in his adopted home city of Chicago he started out far more modestly. In 2012, President Barack Obama was re-elected as the president of the United States. During his second tenure, he had set some goals. His government aimed to overcome income inequality. Obamas government also brought changes to the climate because all over the World global warming is a major issue. President Obama wanted to reform American education, to reduce teenage violence and eradicate illiteracy. His economic policies rebuilt the back bone of the society and the middle class. He also pushed the immigration-cum-visa policy, which attracted many intellectuals of the country and lead to development.Opponents of Obama thought he cannot succeed during his second term of presidency. But the actual result turned out to be something different; the Obama government achieved half of the set goals. Even Obama was able to persuade Iraq to some extent regarding the negotiation of Nuke.In 2015, the two powerful men, President Obama and PM of India Narendra Modi met. The good relations with Modi increased US-India trade. The U.S.-India trade has grown dramatically since the 2008 accord, expanding from $60 billion in 2009 to $107 billion in 2015. Though, the friendship has not lived up to its potential.Personal Life of Barack Obama:In June 1989, when Obama was employed as a summer associate at the Chicago law firm of Sidley Austin, he met Michelle Robinson.
