Bigg Boss is one of the most famous and controversial reality shows. The much awaited Bigg Boss 10 was telecast from October 16, 2017 from 10.30 to 11.30 pm. The show was once again hosted by famous Bollywood personality and superstar Salman Khan. BIGG BOSS 10 FINAL SCORECARD 

This time the show will feature a common man which is certainly the biggest and surprising news among Indian audiences. The show will also have the celebrity contestant but one person from public will find a chance to be the participant of this infamous Bigg Boss house. The contestant would be selected on the basis of online auditions where the best-selected video will be nominated as the Bigg Boss 10 contestant. The show is weekly broadcasted and the elimination happens every Friday. The eliminated contestant will be declared by Salman Khan. On Sunday, the show broadcasts different unseen extra footage of the week.  Bigg Boss 10 will also have personalities belonging from different fields as well as controversial celebrities. There can also be a non celebrity contestant that may be the part of the show.Bigg Boss is a television reality show broadcast on Colors channel and the show follows the format of Big Brother and the concept was developed by Endemol based in Netherlands.

The show has completed nine successful seasons within the span of ten years and has been able to establish itself as one of the most popular realty show in India. The concept of the show is to have a number of contestants belonging to different fields from singing, acting, modeling to comedy and the contestants live in a house and are isolated from the world. Apart from the contestant, a character named Bigg Boss exists in the house and he is only audible. He keeps an eye on all the contestants as well as gives them various tasks to perform. The contestants are expected to behave as per the Bigg Bosss orders .The house has no internet connection, television connections, mobile phones, watch or pen and paper.

The Bigg Boss house is usually constructed in Lonavala near Mumbai, but for one season it was located at ND Studios in Karjat in the outskirts of the city. It is a well decorated and colourful house consisting huge dorm-style bedrooms, a kitchen, activity area, swimming pool garden and a gym. The house also has a confession room where the Bigg Boss can call any contestant for discussion or nomination process. Each week the contestants will nominate two of their peer members and the two housemates receiving the highest nomination will face a public vote and the contestant to get the highest vote remains in the house and the other contestant will have to leave the house. In the finale, there will be three housemates left and the contestant to get the highest number of public vote among the three is declared as the winner of the show.

The show has never spoken of all the rules, but the most prominent ones are clear to the audience. In the show, the contestants are allowed to speak only Hindi and English language and no other language is allowed. The participants cannot discuss about the nomination and they cant sleep during the day time. The contestants can leave the house only when they are permitted to leave by the Bigg Boss. The contestants are also not supposed to carry any electronic items or any product that is not allowed in the show.

Bigg Boss 1 was first aired on November 3, 2006 with Arshad Warsi as the host of the show. The show was broadcasted for the first season on Sony TV. The rest seasons of the show were broadcast on Colors Channel. There also have been celebrities in the show and the list of celebrity guests include Ali Merchant (Season 4), Pamela Anderson (Season 4), Swami Agnivesh (Season 5), Andrew Symonds (Season 5), Yamamotoyama (Season 5) and Jyoti Amge (Season 6). The winners of the Bigg Boss seasons include Rahul Roy, Ashutosh Kaushik, Vindoo Dara Singh, Shweta Tiwari, Juhi Parmar, Urvashi Dholakia, Gauhar Khan, Gautam Gulati and Prince Narula (winners from season 1 to season 9 respectively). The biggest and most famous contestants of Bigg Boss include Jade Goody, Sunny Leone, Sanjay Nirupam, Vinod Kambli, among others. Jade Goody was a part of the Bigg Boss Season 2 but she left the show early and returned to UK learning that she had cervical cancer and she died in March 2009. There were also controversies created in Season 6 after the entry of Kashif Qureshi, a common man chosen via auditions. However, media reports later found that Qureshi personally knew Salman Khan since he was shooting for the movie Wanted.

The list of Bigg Boss 10 contestants include Lokesh Sharma, a student from Delhi, Manveer Gurjar, a dairy owner from Noida, a radio profession from Pune, Mandira Chauhan, another actor-singer from Mumbai, Nikhil Mehta, Naveen Prakash, who is a teacher from Bihar and Dev Devgn, a businessman from Punjab. And celebrities like Rahul Dev, Gaurav Chopra, most popular VJ and Roadies winner Bani, Antara Biswas from Bhojpuri film industry.
