Bigg Boss 13 is the latest season of controversial Indian reality show Bigg Boss, which is originally a rip-off of the Dutch reality show Big Brother. The latest season of Bigg Boss will be hosted by Salman Khan who has been hosting the show for last five years in a row. The show premieres on September 29, Sunday and will keep running for the next three months. As per the new format of Bigg Boss 13, there are only celebrity contestants and no commoner has been roped in to play the game. The sets of Bigg Boss 13 have been transferred to a film studio in Mumbai. This is very unusual considering the sets were always mounted in Lonavala.

Filmmaker and art director Omung Kumar has designed the sets of Bigg Boss 13 keeping in mind the theme of vibrancy. He has used distinct artifacts and made the house look more lavish and interesting. Another striking feature about the Bigg Boss 13 house is that the makers have avoided the use of plastic while creating the sets. Omung himself revealed the news in interaction during the launch of Bigg Boss 13. 

Ameesha Patel in Bigg Boss 13

Apart from Salman Khan, his co-star from Bollywood and popular actor Ameesha Patel is also a part of Bigg Boss 13. The actor is the female voice of the show and has been roped-in to leak some surprising details about the contestants along with some gossips and other interesting updates. As per the new format of Bigg Boss, the finale is happening in the first one month itself, however, as Salman revealed during the launch, the show will keep running for the whole three months with a new twist.

The contestants who are locked inside the house this year include the names of Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rashami Desai, Siddharth Shukla, Pavitra Punia, Wajid Khan, Arhaan Khan, Dalljiet Kaur and Koena Mitra. Watch out this space for all the latest updates on Bigg Boss 13.
