In an earlier incident, a 22-year-old woman was repeatedly raped for six months allegedly by three men who later pushed her into flesh trade in neighbouring Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh. Superintendent of Police N Kolanchi said the woman's family members lodged a complaint six months ago with the police seeking intervention to resolve the missing case of their daughter.
