In a move that will act as significant push to the Make in India scheme by the current central government, Mercedes Benz has decide to assemble its entry level sedan, the CLA at its Pune facility. Hence, making Pune city as the only place outside Europe where the German automotive giant will assemble the saloon car.

When German auto major Mercedes-Benz launched the CLA AMG 45 in India, they stated that the country will soon see more offerings in the line. And today they proved their statement true. Mercedes-Benz India today launched the production model of CLA AMG 45, the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class. The luxury compact saloon is the carmaker’s first offering of 2015 and as per their previous statement at least 15 more products have been planned for the Indian market. Mercedes-Benz has priced the CLA-Class in the range of INR 31.5 – 35.9 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

German auto major Mercedes-Benz is all geared up for the launch of its compact luxury saloon CLA-Class in India today. Slated to be unveiled at 12:30 PM today afternoon, the CLA-Class will be the carmaker’s first offering of 2015 to the Indian market. Mercedes-Benz earlier in 2014 launched a more powerful and performance oriented variant CLA45 AMG in India and the upcoming car will be a more sober version of it. Mercedes is expected to price the CLA-Class in the range of INR 30 – 35 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

German auto major Mercedes-Benz is all geared up for the launch of its latest upcoming CLA-Class in India tomorrow. The compact luxury saloon will be the carmaker’s first offering of 2015 to the Indian market and from the looks of it Mercedes is going to get a smashing start.
