Coldplay is a British rock band. It was formed by Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland at the University College London in 1996. The duo was later joined by Guy Berryman and gave a new name to the group, Starfish. Will Champion joined as a drummer and backing vocalist. Phil Harvey is supposedly the fifth member of the band. In the year 1998, the band was renamed as Coldplay. The band achieved the fame worldwide with the release of the single Yellow in the year 2000 followed by the album Parachutes. The second album of the band was A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002). Their next release was X&Y. The fourth studio album was Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008). The fifth studio album was Mylo Xyloto followed by Ghost Stories and A Head Full of Dreams.In December 2003, one of the band members Chris Martin got married to Gwyneth Paltrow. They met in 2002. They have two children. His daughter is Apple Blythe Alison Martin and son is Moses Bruce Anthony Martin. Then Jonny Buckland got married in the 2009. Guy Berryman got married once and then got separated. In the year 2003 Will Champion get married. They dont have any female singer in their band. But they have worked with Rihanna for their album named "Princess of China."Throughout their career, Coldplay won 62 awards from 209 nominations.
