Lok Sabha Passes Criminal Law Bill to Provide Death Penalty to Convicts in Child Rape Cases

The Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill, 2018, which provides for stringent punishment including the death penalty for those convicted of raping girls below the age of 12 years, has been passed in the Lok Sabha.
