Divyanka Tripathi is an Indian actress and one of the most popular television actresses in the Hindi Television Industry. Divyanka came into limelight after her role in the soap opera Banoo Main Teri Dulhan on Zee TV and she won many awards and nomination for her role. One of the most popular roes of Divyanka Tripathi is the character of Dr. Ishita Raman Bhalla in the soap opera Ye Hai Mohabbatein broadcasted on Star Plus. she won the Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role for her role. Born on 14th December 1984 in Bhopal to Narendra Tripathi and Neelam Tripathi, Divyanka has an elder sister Priyanka Tripathi and a younger brother named Aishwarya Tripathi. She completed her schooling from Carmel Convent High School in Bhopal and later graduated from Sarojini Naidu Government Girls College in Bhopal. She had completed a mountaining course from the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering in Uttarkashi and also has completed the rifle shooting course from Bhopal Rifle Academy and she holds gold medals in riflery. Divyanka stepped into the entertainment industry as an anchor in the Bhopal Akash Vani. In 2003, she became a contestant in Pantene Zee Teen Queen and won the Miss Beautiful Skin title. The next year she participated in another reality show Indias Best Cinestars Ki Khoj and was declared the winner of Bhopal Zone. In 2005, she was also crowned as Miss Bhopal. Her first step in acting career was in Doordarshan where she appeared in telefilms. However, she received popularity and recognition for her dual roles in Zee TVs drama fiction, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann. She played the dual role of Vidya and Divya. Vidya was an orphan and illiterate girl whereas Divya was a modern and literate girl. Her character in the opera was critically acclaimed and she won the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress in Drama Category as well as the Indian Telly Award for Fresh New Face. After gaining popularity, Divyanka then got featured in different shows. She appeared in the second season of Star Pluss horror thriller SsshhhhPhir Koi Hai and later also appeared in Sab TVs comedy drama Mrs. And Mr. Sharma Allahabadwale and played the role of Rashmi Sharma, a housewife. From 2013, Divyanka is featured in the most popular character of her career. She appeared in Star Pluss Ye Hai Mohabbatein portraying the character of Dr. Ishita Bhaila who is an infertile dentist and marries a CEO in order to provide maternal affection to his daughter. Her role was critically acclaimed and she also got many awards and recognitions for her role. She won awards such as Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role, the Lions Gold Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role, Boroplus Gold Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role. In 2015, she has also been awarded with the Shan-E-Bhopal Award. Her popularity in the soap opera went on increasing which led her to win six awards at the 2016 Star Parivaar Awards as well as she won two awards at the Gold Awards and won the Face of the Year Award and Best Actress in a Lead Role award. In March 2011, she became the Ambassador for the non-commercial Global initiative CyberDodo the Defender of Life which as dedicated to the Rights of the Child and the Environment. Divyanka also has been a part of movies and played the female lead as Rani Padmavathi in the movie Lala Hardaul which was based on a folk tale of Bundelkhand. Divyanka got married to Vivek Dahiya, his co-actor in Ye Hai Mohabbatein on 8th July 2016 in Bhopal. Divyanka was in controversies when an unknown person came in the sets of Ye Hai Mohabbatein and started misbehaving with her by passing derogatory remarks, after which Divyankas co-actors Karan and Ali beat him for misbehaving.
