Dragon

Dragon, releasing later this year, is helmed by the Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor Ayan Mukerji. It is produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. The movie is highly awaited because of its cast. People are eager to see the fresh pair of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in this supernatural movie. Makers have assured that we will see the lead couple in a totally different avatar. Here is everything you need to know about the film.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have come for the first time for Dragon. According to the reports, the movie got delayed because it is an expensive film and the prep for all the VFX was taking time. But later, a source told the entertainment portal that the news is not true and that Ranbir will join the Dragon unit very soon, in September or October. The source revealed, "It's not true. The movie's shooting will commence after Ranbir completes the shoot for the Sanjay Dutt biopic, in September or October."

Talking about the movie, it is not a typical supernatural film but has a lot of sci-fi elements. It is said that Ranbir and Alia's character would have powers to emit fire from their hands. There will be a lot of action and mythology in the movie. Alia Bhatt said at the recent event, "There will be a lot of action around me. I don’t think I will be beating up anybody. It is not a typical superhero film. It’s a sci-fi, supernatural film." Also, Alia revealed that there won't be separate characters for her and Ranbir, there is just one character. She said, "Ayan said there is no Ranbir and Alia there in the film, there is just one character, it is that tighter love story." The Badrinath Ki Dulhania actress added, "There will be some extensive prep work not for the acting part much but for the world, it’s a new world. There is no dialect or anything that we have to learn."

Reportedly, Alia and Ranbir had met up with each other with the director of the movie in London for discussing the same. Reportedly, Amitabh Bachchan has also roped in the movie to essay a key character. Full cast of the movie includes: Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Chetna Pande, Paras Arora, Vijay Raaz, Rahul Singh.
