Fasting in Ramzan:

Fasting in Ramzan, also known as ‘Roza’, is the fourth of the five pillars of Islam and is intended to teach Muslims self-discipline, self-restraint and generosity. During the holy month of Ramzan, Muslims around the world abstain from eating, drinking, smoking and having sex from dawn to dusk. Ramzan, the ninth month of Islamic calendar, is sacred to Muslims because tradition says the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Mohammed during that month.
