Fawad Khan

Fawad Afzal Khan is a Pakistani singer and actor. He was born on November 29, 1981. His debut album, as a singer was released in 2003. It was named as Irtiqa. His music band was dissolved in the year 2007. Fawad Khan made his debut in films in the year 2007 in Khuda Kay Liye, a Pakistani movie. He was also seen in TV shows such as Dastaan (2010), Humsafar (2011) and Zindagi Gulzar Hai (2012). Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut in the movie Khoobsurat. He also played the lead role in Kapoor & Sons. He was born in Karachi. He got married with Sadaf Khan on November 12, 2005. He also owns a clothing brand SILK by Fawad Khan. In the year 2015, Fawad Khan had also been voted among the top five sexiest Bollywood actors. He did his A-Level from LGS Lahore and got his Bachelors Degree from National University Of Computer and Emerging Sciences(FAST, Lahore). On September 2014, he got the recognition of the first ever Pakistani to be featured on the cover of Indian Magazine Film-fare. In November 2014, Times Celebex awarded him the title of the most popular actor of the month. In December 2014, Fawad was ranked as 37th Most Popular Bollywood celebrities of 2014. This award was bestowed on him by MensXp. He won the Fresh Face of the Year at Hello (magazine) Hall Of Fame Awards in November 2014. He was ranked at seventh in The World's Sexiest Asian Men of 2014 by The Eastern Eye Weekly. In April 2015, Fawad was ranked as the third Most Desirable Men of 2014 by Times of India. Other recognitions and honours include; he was regarded as the Most Beautiful Man of the year at Vogue Beauty Awards in 2015. In October 2015, he was featured on the cover of Filmfare Magazine for the second time. In December 2015, Fawad Khan bagged the fourth rank the World's Sexiest Asian Men of 2015 by The Eastern Eye Weekly. Fawad Khan was featured on the cover of Filmfare Magazine for the third time in March 2016. He was also ranked the first by Times Celebex. Adding more to his achievements, Fawad was ranked as the third Most Desirable Men of 2015 by Times of India and won the crush of the year award at Grazia Young Fashion Awards 2016.He also the Diversity Award at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne in August 2016. Fawad Khan co-hosted the seventh Lux Style Awards with Shaan Shahid and Ali Azmat in the year 2008. In 2015, he hosted the 14th Lux Style Awards with Mahira Khan. The latest work of Fawad Khan is the International Indian Film Academy Awards Rocks 2016. He co-hosted the show with Karan Johar. Fawad Khan played roles in various movies, namely; Khuda Kay Liye, Khoobsurat, Ho Mann Jahaan, Kapoor & Sons, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Albela Rahi, Maula Jatt 2. His television dramas include; Jutt and Bond, Rubber Band, Dil De Ke Jayengy, SatrangiBehzaad, Jeevan Ki Rahon Mein, DaastanHassan, Akbari Asghari, Kuch Pyar Ka Pagalpan, Humsafar, Ashk, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Numm. He was also seen in television fi;ms namely; Kal, Aaj Kuch Na Kaho, Behadd, Armaan. Fawad Khan is also involved in humanitarian and social causes. He has raised money for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, Islamic Relief. In the year 2012, Fawad was appointed as a brand ambassador of the WWF Earth Hour campaign. He said that he is honored to be associated with the noble cause. He is hopeful that he would be able to encourage people to adopt a safer strategy for the conservation of energy.
