Petrol & Diesel Price Cuts in India: Petrol price reduced by 80 paise per litre, diesel by INR 1.30 per litre

The petroleum industry today reduced Petrol price by 80 paise a litre, while diesel rates were cut by INR 1.30 per litre. Following the result of softening of international oil rates, this is the second reduction in fuel prices this month. The revised prices will be effective across the nation from today midnight, says country’s largest petroleum retailer Indian Oil Corp (IOC). After the cut, petrol will cost INR 59.20 per litre in Delhi and diesel will be available INR 47.20 per litre.

Petrol and Diesel Prices Cut: Petrol rates reduced by 49 paise and diesel by INR 1.21 in Delhi

After two consecutive hikes, Public sector oil marketing companies today announced price cuts on fuel rates in Delhi. While petrol rates have been reduced by 49 paise, diesel rates go down by INR 1.21. The renewed prices will be effective from today midnight. Prices of petrol in Delhi will be INR 60 per litre from tomorrow as against the current INR 60.49, while diesel will cost INR 48.50 per litre as compared with INR 49.71 currently, Indian Oil Corp (IOC), the nation's largest oil company, said.
