Gurbani Judge

Gurbani Judge, commonly known as VJ Bani is an Indian actress most popular for her appearances in MTV India. She is the runner up of Roadies 4 and has been involved in anchoring, modeling and MTV's internationally known VJ.She has acted in HimeshReshammiya's 2007 Aap Kaa Surroor followed by an appearance in 2011 flick Soundtrack featuring Rajeev Khandelwal and Soha Ali Khan. She has also done an Ad for Aircel with Dhoni (2010). She was last seen in the Punjabi flick Zorawar. Currently, she is seen in Bigg Boss Season 10.

Born on 29^th November 1987 in Chandigarh, she was born and brought up in Chandigarh itself. VJ Bani belongs to a rich family, where her father has a business in Chandigarh and her mother is a home-maker. Bani has attended a private school Vivek High till the 7th standard. Later she attended Woodstock International School in the foothills of the Himalayas in Mussoorie and graduated from there in 2006. Gurbani Judge aka Bani during education has applied for the auditions of Roadies 4 (2006), got selected as a contestant and was the runner-up after which she was recruited by MTV-Roadies. Roadies proved to be the turning point of in her career.
After that, she has been the anchor for Roadies Season 6, 7, 9 and 10. She loves to spend her time in the gym and stay fit. She also participated in Fear Factor season 4 in 2011 with Amit Mehra but got eliminated. She is one of the most renowned VJ's in the fraternity. In 2007, Bani Judge stepped into Bollywood by playing the female lead character in the movie App KaSuroor, which was a HimeshReshammiya film. Apart from AapKaSuroor, she has also been associated with movies like Soundtrack and in 2016; she appeared in Punjabi movie Zorawar. She has also been a part of the Telugu movie Thikka. Currently, she is a part of the reality show Bigg Boss 10. The show is hosted by Salman Khan. Bigg Boss asks the celebrities to elect three contenders who performed exceptionally well during the luxury budget task to compete for immunity. After discussions, celebrities elected Bani, Lopamudra and Mona. For the task, the contenders are given a pair of skis with three shoes attached to it. The contestant who stays on the skis for the longest time will win immunity. During the task, the other contestants are not allowed to help these three in any manner.

Known as a fitness freak, she is known as a role model for the youth and she has been associated with youth through her anchoring in MTV India. She is very popular among the youth and she is also trained in martial arts and thus knows how to defend herself, both physically and verbally. She is the icon of a modern Indian woman.
