Harmanpreet Kaur is an Indian cricketer playing in the national side of the Indian Women's Cricket Team. She is also the Captain of Indian Women's T20 Cricket Team, and the Indian Railways. Harmanpreet Kaur is a member of the Sydney Thunders in the Women's Big Bash League tournament. Harmanpreet Kaur was born on 8 March, 1989, at Moga. Her father Harmandar Bhullar is a volleyball and basketball player. She joined the India Women's National Cricket Team on 7 March, 2009, when she made her one-day international (ODI) debut opposite the Pakistan women's cricket team in the 2009 Women's Cricket World Cup. The same year in June, Harmanpreet Kaur made her Twenty20 International debut in the 2009 ICC Women's World Twenty20 against England Women. She made her Test debut on 13 August, 2014, versus the England women's cricket team. Harmanpreet Kaur smashed 171 (not out) against Australia Women in the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2017 semi-final match held on Thursday, 20 July, 2017.
