Hero MotoCorp: Hero MotoCorp appoints ex-BMW Markus Braunsperger as CTO

India's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp has appointed Markus Braunsperger, formerly with BMW, as the company's chief technology officer. Braunsperger who joins Hero MotoCorp today was earlier with BMW where he spent 25 years in various roles covering the entire gamut of research and development, production and corporate strategy, the company said in a statement.

Honda, Hero, TVS Scooter Sales of September 2014 in India

2014 were at 4,38,470 units as compared to 3,17,750 units in the same month last year, up 37.99 per cent. Scooter market leader Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India posted a growth of 49.67 per cent at 2,41,128 units as against 1,61,105 units in the year-ago month.
