Hina Khan

Hina Khan is an Indian television and film actress and is well known for her Komolika role in television series Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She started her television career in 2009 with a lead role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which became the fourth longest-running Indian television soap opera.

From 2009, Hina has been making special appearances in several television serials and has played host and contestant on a number of Indian reality shows. She was a contestant on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and Bigg Boss 11 in 2017-2018 and was first runner up in both.

PERSONAL LIFE:

Hina Khan was born on October 2, 1987 in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir and along with her parents, she has a younger brother Aamir Khan. In 2009 she completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the CCA School of Management, Gurgaon. Hina has been dating Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's supervising producer Rocky Jaiswal since 2014.

CAREER:

Apart from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Hina in 2019 starred in web series Damaged 2. Where movies are concerned, she has signed up for a few, namely, Lines, Soulmate, Wish List, Hacked and The Country of Blind. She has also appeared in 2018 Punjabi music video Bhasoodi, and in 2019 in Raanjhana.

AWARDS:

Hina has won a number of awards starting in 2009 when she won the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress (Popular), in 2010 the Indian Telly Award for Best Fresh New Face (Female) and Best Actress (Jury), and in 2015 the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress - Popular. All three were for her role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. In 2018, she won the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival Award for Best Entertaining Performance in Bigg Boss 11. In 2019, she won the Indian Telly Award for Best Actor In A Negative Role Female (Jury) and Best Actor In A Negative Role Female (Popular) for her role in Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

She was also awarded Style Diva of Television Industry at the 11th Gold Awards and Stylish Personality Of The Year at Iconic Achievers Awards 2018, held in Mumbai.
